PRF-110, our first product, is based on the local anaesthetic ropivacaine, targeting the post-operative pain relief market. PRF-110 is an oil-based, viscous, waterless and clear solution that is deposited directly into the surgical wound bed before closure to provide localized and extended post-operative analgesia.

OcuRing^TD is a polymer-based platform for an extended drug release. The bio-erodible ring is applied to the haptic of an intraocular lens (IOL) for use in cataract surgery. Once implanted the OcuRing™ continuously releases medications for treatment and prevention of postoperative complications of cataract surgery. The technology may be applied to any drug used in cataract surgeries such as NSAIDs and cortico-steroids and has the potential for use in other ophthalmology arenas.
